Norway is wild, and most of the country is inhabited. Where you go will determine what flavor of Norway you get to experience.
Being so rugged, the various regions have a long history of only being connected by the sea, or not at all. Travel from one valley to the other, the landscapes change and sometimes so do the people. Rivers start flowing with you instead of against you, and eventually, you find the ocean with peaks rising a thousand meters. You can climb it, or you can trek along the base. Or we can set you up in a cozy guest house, where you can just relax by the fireplace and take in the view.
Whatever experience you wish for outdoors in Norway, it is there. The weather will probably shift, and you may experience 3 seasons in a single day. I have traveled all my life, but only recently did I understand the uniqueness of the experiences I was having just outside my own doorstep.
Born and raised beyond the Arctic Circle to a French mother and a German father, I am fluent in French, English, and Norwegian. For 15 years, I have worked behind the scenes of the music industry, building concert tours and shaping experiences for others.
Now I want to take what I know and apply it to help travelers experience the Norway that I know, far from the cruise ports and tourist traps.
